DSG Remap

Hi Guys
Anyone tried a remap for their DSG yet.
Benefits are customised launch rpm, quickers shifts, manual mode kick down deactivated, torque limit increased to 500nm from 350nm, overall smoother shifts.
I have remapped my r ecu last week(We gained 25hp and 50nm on the wheels after the remap), and although thrust from 4000 to 6500rpm is phenomenal I am finding the gearchanges a bit laggy on acceleration
I am thus considering a dsg remap.
I would appreciate your thoughts and feedback

I remapped my A3 DSG which made a big difference, not thought about it on my Roc as the DSG software is a lot better.
We have maps for the R, if you can tell me what the DSG gearbox code is with VAGCOM (it will be something like 02E 300 042M) I'll let you know if Revo have it.

Are you saying Revo already have DSG Remaps available?

Custom Code offer a separate remap for the Gear Box pal.

May be a stupid question, but will this same Remap work with my 2.0 TDi Jetta? I would really like it if it could shift like my Roc.

Careful on that though, only works in conjunction with their own engine remaps

Revo and GIAC both offer DSG remaps

Revo don't map the later boxes
Custom Code's map is torque limited so doesn't work properly with none else's engine map, frustrated golf r owner is now running GIAC
Autograph are also meant to map later dsgs

Guys I had it done this week............and its awsome. The gearbox was custom set to my list of requirements and I am very happy.

It is amazing how much of torque the standard map limits the car to. Its is a must even even you decide to keep your ecu standard.
