Bluetooth mutes tablet satnav

Hi All,
Tricky one! My 2012 140GT's own satnav doesn't feature speed camera warnings. I had a Dell Streak, on which CoPilot Live worked perfectly, with such warnings. However, I've changed the tablet/phone to a Samsung Galaxy Note, and now...
Samsung Satnav on, radio on, anything else on, fine.
Samsung satnav on, Galaxy linked to Bluetooth = no voice directions.
I tried asking CoPilot and got words to this effect: 'We don't fart about with 3rd party software. I haven't asked VW yet.
Just an aside, it may be brain failure on my part but I have a strong suspicion the setup worked once or twice at first.
