Don't know if I'm just getting old ! But what the hell are people driving round with McDonalds toys hanging from their back bumpers ?? I've seen smurfs etc hanging put really have no clue why!

Anyone else have an idea as to what its about ? Lol

I can remember many years ago when some people drove round with a tiger's tail hanging out of their petrol tank.
It was part of a advertising campaign by Esso (I think). The catch phrase being "Put a tiger in your tank".
Some years later there were those plastic fingers you stuck on the bottom of your boot lid to make it look like someone was trapped inside the boot.

As far as I'm aware it's something that was originally popular in Japan where they used to hang toys off the back of the car so people could see the horizontal GForce when power sliding...

Not likely to see that happening with chavved up 1.2 Corsas down at McDonalds though

I sure do, also remember my old mans transit van having a dashboard full of smurfs when they were given out free with National Petrol, think that was 1978 !!?
