when was it serviced or purchased? If just a top up they may do it foc but it could be something more sinister which is causing the problem?

What engine is it? When was the last time you checked the levels?

If you`ve had since new then I`d say its normal. Engine uses more oil as it tight.

I also noticed oil a little low after its first 10 thousand km, so went to price oil and filter change, and got a service for 129€ instead just to make sure it's right.
Probably didn't need it, but I reckon the first few thousand km are where the new bits of metal are being picked up by the oil and I'd like to get some years out of the car.
