Fuel leak

Hello I have owned my TSI for 3 months now and I love every minute of it. The past few days my friends and I have smelt a strong smell of petrol off her after parking up.
Today I noticed a small pool of fuel and a leak coming from the rear offside of the car. I have taken a picture of we're the leak comes from.
I think it could be fuel line related as it doesn't smell when it hasn't been running? I just want to know of it will get worse! I'm gonna book it into the dealers soon.

don't book it into the dealers 'soon', book it in first thing in the morning! even take it in first thing without an appointment. I wouldn't be messing around with that especially if its dripping enough to pool

Yes - as per trix post, I would just turn up as a fuel leak is a hazard, as it is safety related I am sure they can accommodate you. The leak won't get better, not only is it hazardous but obviously costing you money.

As said above. It only wants one discarded match or fag end when your parked in a public place and your car goes up in smoke.

Thanks for the replies. Got speaking to the dealer today, dropped it off this morning. Thought I would leave an update in case others have the same issue.
It was the fuel filter which was causing the leak. They traced it back there quite quickly and have ordered the part to get fitted in the morning! Thankfully it wasn't a bigger job needing done!

You would have thought they would have a fuel filter in stock but glad it was nothing major
