Scirocco Central

hi ive recently purchased my roc and im having trouble connecting my samsung galaxy s2 to my stereo so i can listen to music etc, if i plug my ipad in the mdi reconises it straight away but not my phone for some reason does anybody know what i need to do please?

i believe its the top spec version satnav/dvd player etc not sure of model number sorry

any help would be greatly appreciated
