Hi guys,

First off all im new here to this forum, so big greetings from Denmark :)

I just bought a Scirocco 2.0 TDI DSG with shiftpaddles and so on, where i fitted 8,5+10 x 20" ATP Split rims and its getting slammed to the ground on coilovers today hopefully and so on (more pics to come in a new thread later on :))

But while waiting for parts and so on, im wondering what do you do to keep your Candy White cars glossy and shiny? I am used to black cars, where you can see a big differnece when polishing the car, but i cant se that happening on a white car, or am i wrong?

Is the only solution to keep washing it by hand as i am doing now, and giving it some Meguiars Quick Wax after washing it?

Looking forward to hearing from you all - thanks!

The Werkstat Acrylic Kit is awesome on Candy White. The Jett trigger is so easy to apply too.

Agree with the above, use Werkstat prime on mine and it's brilliant. I have also purchased Auto Finesse Tough Coat to be applied on top of the prime as this was highly recommend.

consider the car lack 68 brand of products as well.

for me the general rule is to apply sealant ( can be the white watery ones or the baby oil looking type) after a good wash. Put 3 layers on and the protection can last for months.

From there on, dirt does not stick to the surface as stubborn as usual, so make subsequent washing and drying easier.

also use ph neutral shampoo with added wax. The effect is the car dries itself after washing.
