Scirocco Central

Popped into the dealer today to have a quick peek at my newly delivered Scirocco R. Having never really looked at an R in detail I'm glad I liked what I saw. Usefully there was a GT parked next to my R which gave me a good chance to look at the differences in more detail.









On another note, I know the pedals are shiny, but they seem to feel a different size. I found it much easier to heel & toe than my GT.

Looking under the bonnet things are also quite different, the air filter isn't in the same place as my GT there's just a void behind the left headlight. Which begs the question, where is the air filter?

Only 30 sleeps before I get my hands on it proper, not that I'm counting of course!

No Recaro seats just plain old Vienna leather.

I had my dealer send me pictures of mine the moment it came into their back lot, looking similar to yours re. shipping covers (I was overseas at the time)

Reflex Silver for mine.

I only popped into the dealers to sort the finance and then looks what's happened!!
