Bleeding brakes

Took my car to VW in the south of England (not naming names) who did a simple £59 brake fluid flush.
Apparently it was 'taking longer than expected' as there was some air in the system. So they rebled the system a second time .
Jumping in the car the brake pedal goes right to the floor and nearly all the way before you get contact on the discs. Thoroughly annoyed about it as I travelled a long way to get to this particular dealership!
Clearly theres air all over the shop and i'm wondering if they have cycled the ABS pump via VAGCOM etc etc as its worse than before it went in!
Why can't VW bleed the brakes properly? I knew I should have done it myself! Just thought I'd share this as I'm assuming theres still lots of air in the system/master cylinder etc and wondered if anyone has had this experience before?
