Kerb!!!

Damn it, 2 weeks into owning my car and one of my 19" black Luganos had a fight with a kerb in a multi-story car park - It lost, convincingly!!
Anyone had any success having a black wheel repaired? Alternatively I'm thinking of getting a replacement from VW but no doubt this will cost a fair few bucks!
So annoyed with myself, been so used to having a crap car which I didn't care about I got a bit complacent - never again!

Maybe worth while stating which area of the UK you are.

I was at a mini car show today in Bristol and happened to pick up the business card of a wheel refurb place (always handy to have).
They're only 5 mins from my work but I'd never heard of them before. Anyway they do a proper tyre off refurb not just a quick blow over of the front. They also have replacement wheels you can borrow.
If you're SW based I can pass on their details.

Thanks both for the info, feel slightly better now knowing that the black should be able to be repaired.
If you could pass on the deets for the company in Bristol that would be great, I'm live in Cheltenham (work Forest of Dean) so not too far from Bristol.

Ah not too far away then, it's a company called My Alloys

I think a 19" alloy was £65 + vat.
