Just because it has blue light does not mean it an unmarked police car, could be fire officer/ ambulance manager etc, unless you saw a police officer driving it?

To be honest I could not see the driver as he drove past me coming from behind and didn't realise what car it was until it went past. So yes it could have been one of them. My apologies

Was there not someone on here about a year ago who was something to do with the ambulance service who used his own car for work?

Fire Service officers will often be seen driving their own cars which are fitted with blues and twos. The officer I used to work with drives a Golf GTD. Same applies to ambulance officers.

Mine was first owned by a Doctor so high chance he had a blue light.
