My next Rocco I'm getting has DSG and I intend to remap it eventually.
I'm Just wondering, since I've heard they are weaker than a manual box, what can they handle ?
The Car in question is a 2.0 TDi 140.
Thanks.

I believe the 6 speed version is 340lb/ft but look on the VW website - there's a whole section on DSG with the specs.
I'm on 330, and all ok!
The 7 speed is significantly less

Aye from what I've heard, the DSG7 boxes can't handle Stge 2 torque from the 160s. But I wondered what the rating was for a DSG6 box on a TDi. Apparently a remap can put out upto 350lb/ft so that would damage the box "/

You needn't worry about the torque output from a remapped 140 on a DSG box, I ran a remapped 140 for 5 years in my A3 DSG without issue. I've run my stage 2 170 DSG for 2 years without it missing a beat. It's easier with DSG as it won't let you run in high gears at low speed unlike a manual.

Aww okay, thanks very much, I was just kinda unsure if I would break something lol, I know how expensive DSG boxes can be to repair.

I have got Revo Stage 2 with 100 RON on my 1.4 DSG rocco. Around 235 hp, and there are no problems whatsoever. I think that torque is slightly less (300NM) compared to manual cars, but the torque limiter of DSG does not intervene. The chiptuning map is written that way, so it doesn't trigger any sorts of limiter or safe mode. Other company that tunes 7DSG equipped engines is APR.
