Enquired at the dealer today and radios across the VW range will have DAB fitted as standard. This applies to any cars joining the production line after week 22 of 2012.

This very helpful dealer, also said there will soon be a retro fit pack for installing LED running lights to all Sciroccos. Cost around £400.

Drowsiness detection is now included with cruise control as an optional. Any other additions with MY2013?

Just read through the "paperwork" on this. Not Scirocco. Only Polo and Golf listed. And its restricted to specific models. Doesn't fit R-Line and some diesel models (Bluemotion). Same for the spares kits at £394.15, not Scirocco, only Polo and Golf. Adds the single white light DRLs like the Scirocco R type DRL and the lower grilles in the bumper are changed to accomodate the DRL units. No amber indicators built into the units.

I do have one question, it states nappa leather in the spec on rokopedia - my understanding is that it is not nappa leather just standard leather.

Ordered my 'roc on the 28th..think the order didnt go through until 29th of May has this just got inside the week 22 and got the new mods??

I believe the changes actually refer to cars being built week 22 onwards, so if you just ordered this week, your car won't be built for a while yet, so yes you should get all the latest updates

My car which I received on Tuesday already had the latest updates available on it - so I wonder if it's based on all cars delivered on/after Week 22?

Does that include DAB?

The salesperson who sold me my car seemed to suggest that only cars being built week 25 onwards would have the DAB and other small changes, could be wrong though.

Hi guys & gals just ordered my scirocco 1.4 160ps with DSG in white "i would have had viper green but the wife put her foot down " ;-) i just wondered what ice I will get & what changes there maybe it's arrival time is September sometime , Due to the huge demand of the DSG box

These changes will happen for car being built in the next week or so. There's often another update around week 45 which will be too late for you so this MY2013 is the spec you'll get.

I know this will come across as silly & stupid but I may be a touch thick . I have not been able to find full tech specs of internal ice I.E if its a 501 or I think the 301 .As our sales people seem to want your money & not even walk out of the showroom to even open the car just point the key from inside , but I have loved the scirocco since it first come out & Noe I can afford 1 thought no matter how Cheeky he was I wanted 1 so can some 1 send me a link to internal ice package as not even the brochure says what it will be & also what are the replacement ice units like off amazon with built in DVD & sat nav & so on cheers in advance ;-)

Am very surprised if the sales people can't say want kind of ICE your car will have. Not too sure what they are offering as standard, but I think it maybe the 301 unit (with DAB). Dynaudio would be an optional extra. The accessories brochure should be available for download from the VW website with details of tech specs.

Scirocco (UK) New price list which has been revamped to be more like a brochure has been released 1st June. It can be downloaded from VW (UK) Ltd's website in the Scirocco (new) section.

If you read rw1s post he clearly states that its for the golf and polo only. Not the scirocco.. So doesn't really matter what it looks like
