Scirocco Central

Hello people,

After a lot of research, the decision is made and I plan to order a new Scirocco via Motability on Monday. Here's a rundown of my choices...

2.0TDI 140 GT
Indium grey
18-inch wheels
Parking sensors
Badge deletion

I'm also toying with the idea of the two-tone (truffle) upholstery - it seems to lift the interior.
Delivery should be mid-July, when the lease on my Mini Cooper finishes.
Feeling a bit thrilled already

Well, I went ahead and ordered it!

Just a quick run down...

...plus rubber mats thrown in FOC. I understand my new toy will be ready for when the lease on my Mini Cooper is up on the 16th July. Looking forward to it already

i really like the truffle with indium grey really will look great, oh what a differance a few months make, we waited from 2nd week feb to 2nd week july last year for our mobility car, but that was at a time when the dealers used their allowance of scirocco s up and shifted motability cars to the next month well thats my thinking. and all we got was the box of chocolates. but it was really worth the wait, they are a great car to drive, im sure you will enjoy your car.

I reckon that the truffle trim works because a lot of the interior remains in the anthracite colour. ..I like the contrast.

I’m really looking forward to my new steed. The Cooper has been great but my worsening back/leg pain means poor Min can no longer cut it on speed bumps and potholes. The local VW agency lent me a GT diesel. ..I drove it for about 40 miles and was convinced! It`s believed my new car will be ready before Min`s lease is up. Roll on July 16th. ..

Excellent, I ordered mine in January and have only jut had mine confirmed for delivery which will now be last week in June, been a long wait and I had to extend my latest car lease until then but Motability did it without any bother.

I cannot wait much longer this has been the longest 6 months ever, good thing though this forum keeps my sanity reading others posts and looking at their photos/videos, absolutely brilliant.

The lads at the dealership were pushing V. Green - perhaps its an age thing! Besides, I’d already decided, I wanted a subtle colour and definitely not white (Min is Pepper White). But I realise it`s each to his/her own - my wife isn’t overkeen on truffle hide!

I bet you’re champing at the bit, it is a long wait. I think it’ll be worthwhile.
