How can I play music in my Scirocco? :(

Hi guys, I need some help
I'm a big fan of music - like everyone and always download new tracks which I put on my iPhone, perfect for the gym.
One problem, I have a VW, Scirocco 1.4 L. Everytime I want to listen to music, I have to download tracks and then make a CD and that's the only way I can play it in my Scirocco.
Is there a better way? A solution? Something where I don't have to keep piling up CD's in my car? Can I play music via my iPhone in my Scirocco? Something I have to buy? If so please let me know or how you guys do your music in the car
I would want to buy a new cool stereo I could just connect my phone via USB but I see I can't do that in a Scirocco coz of the special built media center

Hello,
Don't you have AUX IN? If yes, you can use a TRS to TRS cable to listen music from you iPhone.

Is that in the front of it or back? I don't think I have it - I havn't seen it

You should have sockets inside the arm rest.

your standard spec will be different to ours as every country is a little bit different.
what radio headunit model do you have? & do you have any connections inside your armrest or glove box?

I thought they all came with the aux in at the front of the arm rest
you wont have the midi cables in the arm rest unless you speced them when buying.

Hi guys, I do have the AUX IN socket in the arm rest, what do I do now or buy now to do something nice with playing from my iphone?

A double headed 3.5mm audio cable should do it.

What else can you do with the AUX IN? Can I buy a second media player and attach to it or something? What do you guys use it for?

Anything that plays through a 3.5mm jack can go in there. Most people I would think run an ipod in there through the specific ipod socket though. You can buy a refurb nano from the apple store or ebay and just slot it straight in and it charges and puts the playlists up too.
