Gloss on my seat!!!

A friend of mine has been helping with the decorating

however he managed to get gloss on him self then on to my nice black leather passenger seat

Luckily it was spotted straight away so most of it wiped straight off, however there are a few tiny white specs which have dried
Is there anything that can remove it without damaging the leather

noooo not good if its dried, you could try some white spirit & work it in fairly well
whatever you try make sure you feed the leather well afterwards

yeah its dried, very tiny specs in the pores of the leather, I was thinking turps but didn't want to destroy the seat. I'm scared and sad. really don't wanna be buying a new seat

maybe try it on a cotton bud to keep it localised to the paint?
stick up a picture I can't believe its that bad that you need to shell out & get a new seat

Got to watch spirit based doesn't remove the dye from the leather.

Its not that bad as to replace a seat really, it would have been if it wasn't spotted sooner was a patch the size of your hand span. now there is just specs as I say. most people probably wouldnt notice now after a scrub, but my eyes are just drawn to it

If it's gone hard get a magnifying glass and a needle or pin and see if you can get under the paint, it may flick off in pieces.
May take some time, but I reckon you'll crack it mate.
