Hi, I have a 2.0tsi GT that came out of warranty 5 or so months back (it was one of the first in the country). Back in june (at 32k miles) I got a sudden loss of power and the fuel pump had broke, the pump, a fuel sensor and a wiring loom was replaced under warranty with a dealership in the midlands. In August just before it came out of warranty it had it's second service at my usual dealership (it's on the long life option) at about (33.5k miles) and everything was fine. On saturday i was driving along and had a sudden loss of power, engine light came on but this time there was a plume of white smoke, laden with the smell of petrol. I thought it was a coil or plug resulting in a misfiring cylinder (the car sounded like a v-twin) the RAC guy ran a diagnostic and it was coming up with multiple ignition coil problems. Unfortunately the RAC guy could only tow the vehicle 10 miles and no dealership was that close. On monday I got it towed but not to my usual dealership but a new one a bit closer as my usual dealership was fully booked for a few days and I thought it was a simple change of a couple of coil packs.
On tuesday I rang the dealership and they said they needed to strip back as diagnostics wasn't showing anything, it was going to cost more blah blah. On Wednesday again I had to ring up and this time I was told all four fuel injectors were broke and it was going to cost over £1100 (not sure if that included vat). I've been in contact with volkswagen uk and I'm still arguing with them, they have already offered 60% off. The car has done about 35k miles only 1.5k more since it was serviced (as I have been writing my engineering phd up) and only 3k since the pump was changed. Has anyone ever heard of all four injectors going? The garage has failed to give a reason why and this is my main area of contention.
Any suggestions on what to do next would be helpful, I'm not an expert on engines but it just sounds partly a misdiagnosis by them, but if not shouldn't they be finding the root of the problem?

what do you mean by the Injectors are Broken ?
Re: All four fuel injectors broke at same time on 2.0Tsi
i've been told they're leaking fuel into the cylinders and fuel has now worked into the engine oil

Re: All four fuel injectors broke at same time on 2.0Tsi
usually when fuel is geeting mixed with oil or water , u get white smoke at the exhaust.
if the problem is that injectors were leaking, i doubt it happened to all 4 injectors at the same time.
and if really the 4 injectors were broken at the same time, then there was a problem causing that (probably fuel/oil mix in the engine block), and it may damage any new injectors again.
