And Finally VW Australia gives us some love!!!!!! MY new baby arrived last week, the first shipment of Scirocco's into Australia and already a 12 month wait!
Indium Grey Roc R optioned with pano roof, unfortunately no leather in Aus, although I may look into aftermarket re-upholstery.
It's the first Indium w roof in Australia, and I had to pay the freight to get it down to Melbourne from a West Australian dealer.
Well worth it, I'm just happy to have a beautfiul, fast, well finished and beautifully poised vehicle to zip about in.
Upgraded from A Golf GTi and WOW, what a difference; a completely different feel, and a real drivers car.
I couldn't be happier.
Some night shots to come.......

Fantastic......great colour choice. I think Indium wil be quite rare.
I'll be waiting for my car for about another 5 months. Ordered on Jan 13 and due about june 30 into the country and to me on about July 15.
Still to see one here on the road.

Is this an Austrailian forum now? Seriously guys, the R isn't available in the UK in Indium Grey so I for one can only lust after your choice!

Nothing wrong with having an Aussie flavour in here.. 400 Roc R's were delivered onto Aussie shores in December and January... so expect plenty more of us in here...

Just wish VW would hurry up and build mine.
I've had second thoughts of stiking with the Indium because of the long delivery lead time. Will be happier when I get a firm build date

I originally had silver on order but VW refused to confrim an ETA. Luckily, I found the Indium. An obscene freight price later, and my unknown ETA had shortened to become the first shipment - Thank god, as my Gti had sold and I was car-less!
The order/supply process that VW employ is serioulsy frustrating - they were taking deposits and orders on the Roc's before even confimring an Australian launch date!
Lucklily, they've got the product to back it up!

DYSLEXIC PRODUCT PLACEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out shopping in South Yarra, Melbourne today, and managed to snag what could nearly be deemed a customised car space......Apart from the obvious minor spelling errors, I thought It a rather fitting spot to park......
