Hi
Anyone else get my pet hate? When I open the tailgate after it has been out in the rain I get maybe 100ml of water running out of the tailgate all over the car. Luckily it doesn't go in the boot. Is this a common problem?

Yes, there is a little storage "reservoir" formed in the gap between the bottom of the rear hatch window and the bodywork immediately below.
As you raise the rear hatch, the "reservior" now becomes more vertical in profile, so the water runs to the the sides and pours out.
I just raise mine up to roughly my lower chest height, allow to drain onto the top of the tail light units, then continue opening the rear hatch. I found it did drain into the boot by raising to full height in one stroke quickly.
Looked at filling the gap with silicon tubing to create a smaller "reservoir" capacity a long while back using tropical fish tank air tubing. Too thick to stay in. Like wise with clear tubing from B&Q. Not re-visited it since.
