Homelink: is it possible on Scirocco?

Hi guys, I'd like to install the homelink system of the Golf V on my scirocco. Do you know if it's possibile? If the answer is negative which are the possible solutions?

I don't see way it would not work. It is just a remote build into the visor, supplied with 12 v from the plug that normally goes to the mirror lighting.

Another option: I took an extra remote, and wired it to a new button in front of the gearshift. Even got the garage-door logo on the button.
