I have a 1.4 160 scirocco reg on 1/3/11 and want to change the silver centre dash trim and the three silver horizontal dash trim parts to piano black.
Can someone give me the part numbers required,if possible approx cost and is the centre part a replacement or a stick on part. Thanks

Unfortunately my spraying skills are not up to scratch.I have found posts by MANNERS in dec last year showing installation.I was hoping he may see this and supply part numbers.

Paul

'piano black part number'
you would come across
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... art+number" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the strips are not available in piano black you either need to paint them yourself or get the stick on kit that was used in an eos special edition (mentioned in that thread)
&
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... ber#p48382" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which gives the radio surround part number in piano black

Got the 09 Roc, so its the old silver dash inserts plus heater unit. Guess the ones for later models won't fit in my car? Wheres the best place to get these bits if VW isn't any good for them? Otherwise may spray them though don't want to ruin them

.
Thanks

The strips are available in black from the dealers / TPS and are a direct replacement for the silver ones in the car. The only part that wouldn't be available would be the radio surround for the old style climate (pre week 45 2009) which isn't an issue as it's a 2011 car Paul has.

We got the stereo surround and the triangular door handles in piano black fitted by the dealer when we bought our car, cost £60 and fitted F.O.C. With reference to the 3 trim strips I fitted some 3M Di-Noc carbon wrap and they look awesome IMO anyhow but Gloss black vinyl can also be bought, this is much better than spraying them as it can be easily peeled off

Center Trim paa Collectors-Edition-3.jpg
Center console 2008-09 aircon (three round holes) Piano Black - 1K1072390C - €189
Bloody expensive, and I think it is actually stick-on, but exceptionally good looking stick-on.
