Revo on the R ?

OK My R is running a Bluefin but I have been told running the Revo software is like night and day to the Bluefin, both are supposed to give about 305bhp peak but the Revo is supposed to give 20bhp more mid range, can anyone confirm this before I blow over 500 quid
