Looks nice easyrider. You got some red LEDs? I like red as you can have them on fairly bright (50-60%) at night and its not distracting or detrimental to night vision.

Cleaned inside and out. Then toped with auto finesse finale quick detailer. Was in need of a good hoovering

yep, red leds are on their way. also bought a few extra footwell light clusters so i can swap from white led/red/stock without messing with bulbs.

Ordered a Cobra non resonated exhaust as don't like the ugly rear silencer.

went to the Pinkstermeeting in Ulft (NL) where i spotted a view Scirocco's, anyone around here that was there as well? had the pleasure to see Dutch Delight's Roc and had a nice chat with him

Today i received a fantastic parcel from DHL



I'm looking forward to getting the spanners out this weekend

I undertook someone doing 60 In the fast lane.

the last few interior leds (apart from the red footwells, grr) and the mallory 18s FINALLY arrived so i took the day off and tinkered. wheels got wonder-wheel cleaned and then dressed the walls with aaron chemicals' tyre sheen - amazing stuff, see bottom picture.





and mtec bulbs in headlights.

Now I need to go out and buy some better cleaning stuff! Those bugs are getting hard to remove!

Front Tyres changed yesterday, they were at 2mm. Pirelli P Zero Rossos, they lasted about 15000 and 14 months - probably due to lots of motorway driving. Don't think that's great for Tyre life really .

Have my MOT today (hence the tyre change), so taking it in to VW

Today I gave Walter his regular Friday clean - no wax today just a wash and dry - but I did have at my tailpipes with a Brillo pad and some autosol ( as recommended by the man Richard Tipper) followed by a cloth and autosol - results are promising and much much better than they were - also had a go at the silencer and found a load of muck to clean off under the rear valance - a happy day

Pre-washed with Citrus , then washed 2 bucket method, then light scratches & swirls removed with scratch remover by hand, then a coat of wax and she's gleaming again, aching arms!

Picked up my R rear spoiler from the bodyshop and fitted it.

Wastewater rattle and VW wheel cap corrosion fixed for free under warranty

Did a thorough outside cleaning yesterday; wash, clay, polish and wax. looks and feels very smooth
Before that i picked up a original Boot liner, and some caps for the wheelbolts. I'm ready for the summer
