Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Premier, I'm not a half measures kind of guy;)
Its still roughly same thickness as the stock mats in the car, maybe a mm or two more.
Those are anthracite colour with nubuck binding trim(not on the site) with lime green stitching:)
The nubuck is a 'dry' matte looking finish which I like too. Not sure if the other leatherette colours have more of a sheen or not.
Honestly black would be OK too, I ordered anthracite as I thought VAG car interiors are closer to this colour than black. But either would be fine IMO

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Revive is great on trim but not on tyres. With me it oxidised to a weird brown colour on the rubber. Now I use auto glym dressing which is great but a bit messy.
Today I polished for the first time using a DA. It went OK, just did the bonnet. it revealed the stone chips more. Then two coats of power seal as I'll be moving somewhere soon where I won't have access to a hose so need 6+month protection now.
Slowly will do rest of car. Can't be rushed esp when being s noobie like me!

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Dropped my R rear spoiler and R line front bumper at the bodyshop. Getting the front plate recess removed while it's in. Picked up the Rear window trims for the R spoiler from TPS.
Clean and snapped a couple of pics on a trip out.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
mate I love your interior, that leather is great on the black car. And the carbon inserts too;)
Not usually a fan of different alloys but they suit the car really well. Good detail too really clean there!
Liking your evil black badges too, debating to change over to them for my Viper, just to evil it up some more, it looks too approachable with chrome:D
Where did you get your badges from and was it easy to take stock ones off? Heat and floss/fishing wire?

It's just the standard inserts that I carbon wrapped.3t3p wrote:mate I love your interior, that leather is great on the black car. And the carbon inserts too;)

Wheel will be powder coated soon in a darker colour.
I got the badges off ebay think they came from Hong Kong. Badges come off easy with the use of a hot air gun and some plastic trim removal tools.

What sort of price was it to have the plate recess smoothed over? If you don't mind me askingDubvrs wrote:Dropped my R rear spoiler and R line front bumper at the bodyshop. Getting the front plate recess removed while it's in. Picked up the Rear window trims for the R spoiler from TPS.

Not sure on an exact price as charging £250 for recess removed paint it and the spoiler.keal23 wrote:What sort of price was it to have the plate recess smoothed over?
