Went to dealers today when passing, my car is still showing as build week 12. But isnt confirmed. Dealer said they can be confirmed right up to the week before. Anyone else had this?

Saw the new black pack in person today. Very pleased I ordered it. Looks very nice on a black GT.

Ordered mine 28th of January.
Confirmed build week 11, This week

Estimated delivered in Norway Week 15/16

Ordered 28 February - just heard from dealer that estimated build is Week 15. Given that its now week 11, and in light of previous postings, does that sound optimistic?

I ordered 11 March and have just been told build week 15 too, having originally been told it wouldn't be built until June.

Fingers crossed for week 15...

Does anyone know the number to ring in VW customer services to find out where my car is? My dealer is now officialy useless.
Also if i ring VW customer services to find out where my car is will my dealer find out basically i want to find out if my dealer is telling the truth.

You'll need to know your "commission number", ie. VW Factory Order reference.

What does the comm number look like ive got a 5 or so digit number begining with 6?

6 digits. Its not your sales invoice number. Your dealer has it against your order. Snag??

Build week 14 confirmed. Get the car 2-4weeks after that. Happy days =D

Mine is scheduled to be built on April 26th (Week 17) and should be delivered on May 26th (week 21). Can't wait!

Just been rang by my dealer he must be pshycic or his ears are burning to be told week 15! Woo hoo!!!!!!

Mine has been brought forward from week 20 to 16, estimated.

It depends on several factors. Anticipate adding between 2 and 4 weeks to Wk16.

Aaargh, mine's meant to be built this week. I'll have to suppress the urge to contact my dealer on Tuesday - might be able to hang it out until Wednesday at least (!)

Once I get that message of "Yes, it's done and going out of the factory today/tomorrow" I reckon I will become a boat spotter courtesy of RW1's links to the AIS system.

My six year old son is asking "Dad, when's the Scirocco going to be here" but I am now sure that I am more excited about it than him

Wednesday and the ships will have loaded and be preparing to sail !!!! Nowt on the horizon after that at the mo.

Just had a call from replacement salesman (other guy left). My car been moved back from 14 to 15 build week. Hopefully be another ship around when its done. I was doubting whether it would get done in time this week anyway.

Not the end of the world, still got to sell my current car.

I read in ETKA when I write there ma VIN that my Sciro was made 31.10.2008. I bought it in February 2009 from dealer.

Just got home to an e-mail from the dealer to say my Roc is built and will soon be shipped to Emden.

Now all I need is to track down the vessel name and go AIS-spotting.
