Was due to be week 9 now week 12 grrr... lets hope that's the last delay.

im just depressing myself reading all this..especially the was build week 9 now build week 12 comment...mines confirmed week 9, they best stick to it or ill go insane.

Gazzrazz, iv been waiting since october, they delayed it a few times but my confirmed build week is next week which is NINE!!!!!!..........if they have a concrete build date it shouldnt change, because before they never gave an exact date it was just rough estimates.

it is never concrete until it goes to confirmed which is never more than 3 or 4 weeks before production Chani

yeah trix thats what has happened with me.

im just glad next week mine will be in production

Have been told today build week 11 so fingers crossed

If it's wk9, i think it may have already gone into production this week to be complete by end of next week...that's how it's worked for mine, which was bw wk8, build began last week, was check point 3 by tues this week, confirmed built when I checked today and possibly boarding ship in half an hour if it made the docks in time (info thanks to RW1)

when do you think i can expect delivery of the car???????????????????????? il ring vw monday morn ask whats the situation!

I'd say it'll arrive at your dealers in 2-3 weeks, and ready for collection a week later at the most

i really do hope this wait will be worth it....im thinking of getting the vw body kit put on, vw quoted me £1700 to spray it and fit it also....is that a good price?

not a clue but there are some prices for supply only here

it won't get answered here (being the build date thread) hence my link to a reasonably relevant thread where you could ask & get an answer, or start a new thread in bodywork & painting

Car has been in the country for at least 3 weeks ...... Was told it would be at the dealers on Thursday or Friday.
Called today and they said "The car should be here today"

When I questioned the amount of time he said "We have been very busy getting cars out on the 1st March ....It wouldn't be so bad if VW didn't take them all round the country before delivering them"

Yes I know ... I would have liked mine on the 1st March!!!
Anyway, I thought the dealers arranged the transport?

ive just had an email with "build complete" on it..get in, wait nearly over..

VW dealers called me up today.......... my build is also COMPLETE!!!! but another 3 weeks wait for it to arrive here in UK.

.......... and I called again today. Guess what! He said "the car should be here today". I have politely asked that he finds out where the car is and when it will be delivered 'cus this guessing thing really isn't working out for either of us. I have a couple theories
1. I was unfortunate that my car went to Emden, then it snowed and disrupted the normal flow of cars
2. They have been busy getting and registering cars before 01/03/10 to beat the VAT deal ... which in turn has delayed some 10 plate cars
3. My car has been damaged and they dont what to fess up!

do you have your commission number? if yes Ring VW customer services & ask them as you are clearly not getting answers from your dealer & they are taking the mick.

chani1312 - have VW told you when it is likely to sail then? Mine will propbably be on the same boat unless it snook on Mondays sail..

gazzrazz......vw just rang to say it is complete and that it will go to germany for testing????? and from there they will ship it. as the cars are built in portugal. he just said he will cll me in a few weeks to tell me the arrival of car but will be end of march. its still along wait the bloody car is built n i got to wait another 3 weeks. its harder now because i know its made than before!!
