Scirocco Central

Ordered a Scirocco R on the 19th of Nov 2011 with an estimated delivery date of 19th febuary 2012. Only been 2 days since ordering and already thats too long!

Am jealous you have a date!! A long time but something to aim for :o)

It is a computer generated date when I placed the order so I cant see it being that accurate tbh

Date won't be accurate until 4 weeks before the actual build. Until then it can float about depending on how supply of parts from suppliers is progressing.

Any idea roughly how long the wait is for an R at the moment. I was told 3-4 months but I have seen a few people have waited 6 months

Weren't you given a provisional week build?????? If the system states 12th Feb2012, then its a pretty good estimate.

yes i was given a provisional date but wasnt sure if that would be too accurate

Ordered my Scirocco 1.4 TSi DSG 160 in Salsa Red on 22 Nov. Today received build week of 16th January (week 03). Having previously owned a MK1 and a MK2 looking forward to my MK3...

I ordered my car on 9th of november and have been given a build date of week 3. Is that a normal amount of time?

I would say that is very good, can be 16 weeks or more.

Did the dealer ring you and tell you the week or did you have to ring them?

I called them but they took a couple days to phone back and tell me. Just seems a long time from ordering it to the start of it getting built. Maybe I'm just being impatient lol.

Ordered my R last week..... production week 9....delivery week 15...

Be been told my build should be week 6, when you you think it will be with my dealer in the UK?

BUild week of 6th February, delivery approx 2 weeks after that says the dealer

Just got my build week which is 6. Mid March delivery im told.
