I managed to get it work with OBDEleven. And im not talking about adaptations but Eeprom editing on GEN3 door modules. It can be done with obdeleven and is very simple. Mind blowing.
Didnt quote it the first time, my bad..

So I finally figured it out and unlike previous posters, thought id do a small writeup to help others:

Note, these instructions are for folding with the keyfob lock button and unfolding on ignition. To unfold on door opening will require different values which I’m unsure of and was too afraid to play around with. Goes without saying use at own risk, MAKE BACKUPS OF EVERYTHING and I won’t be held responsible if you end up bricking your module.

Requirements:
Andriod device (EEPROM coding with OBDEleven isn't supported not IOS)
OBDEleven for VAG (this is the legacy app, the new one also doesn't appear to support EEPROM coding at the time of writing).
Pro or Ultimate Plan.

Long story short I copied this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CngNoukdids

In case this video/link goes down

1. Connect to car, goto control units.

2. Open the drivers door module (42). You do not have to repeat for the passenger side.

3. Under Change Service, change mode to End of assembly line mode (EOL).

4. At the bottom of the menu there should be an EEPROM section, click it. You’ll get a login page, use the 04354 code provided to login.

5. You need to change 3 values at address 189 (0xBD), 206 (0xCE) and 223 (0xDF). These values should all be the same. On my rocco they were all C0, like in the video.

6. In the video these are all changed separately but I did it all in one by entering BD in the Address(hex) box and 36 in the Length(dec) box. Press the blue circle with an R to read the module. This should return a string of letters and numbers, each pair is one address, starting at 189. That way its easy to count the pairs and verify the correct changes are being made (ie count from 189 to 206, and again from 206 to 223 and hopefully the resulting values are all C0). This is a great place to make a backup/screenshot/note etc. just in case things go wrong and need to be reverted.

7. Change these C0 values to D0 by clicking on them and checking bit 4 (bit 6 and 7 should already be checked). Note, if you have different values here, proceed very cautiously, but ticking bit 4 should have the same effect.

8. Press the green circle with a W to write the new values.

9. Verify that the write was a success by exiting the module and re-entering the EEPROM coding and looking up the address again (BD, length 36) and see if the new values are there.

That’s it!

Great write up. With this coding, do the mirrors fold automatically when locking the car, or is a long key press required? Can the mirrors still be folded manually with the mirror control knob inside?
