Awesome looking car buddy!
I like what you've done with the side strips being color coded, that's exactly what I want to do when/if I ever get mine ha!

Thanks dude! Glad to see its of some inspiration haha. Lots more to come, watch this space
Breakdown Update
VW got back to me this morning and it turns out the car does need a new EGR valve. They have quoted me a jaw dropping £1,250... I politely declined
I now have a few options and been looking into a potential remap + EGR delete, alternatively will be taking it to a relatives garage (half way up the country!) who will be able to repair at a fraction of the price.
Will update in due course.

Further update to above...
I complained to VW on Social Media that it took a week to diagnose the issue, they couldn't repair for another week and the fact they couldn't offer a courtesy car. Low and behold, VW UK came back to me and offered to conduct the repair at a reduced price of £833 (inc £110 inspection/diagnostic charge!), plus give me a courtesy car... and fix it by Friday!
Despite wanting a remap plus egr + dpf delete, for resale purposes it was logical to stick with VW main dealer.
Hopefully the Rocco will be back with me by the end of this week!

Haha yeah man!
Got the scirocco back all repaired and running perfectly once again! The front bumper was due to be smoothed and resprayed today however due to financial reasons after paying VW over £800, it has been postponed (boo!)
.
On the other hand, I'm too impatient and the DRL's needed fitting! Today I've sealed them all up with waterproof sealant, so they should be ready to fit tomorrow!

Haven't updated here in a while, not much has changed really apart from cracking my splitter (doh!) and fitting a sun strip.
I loved the sun strip at first, but now the more I look at it the less I like it. What are people's opinions?
I'm hoping for new wheels the end of this month/early next dependant on their release date - currently waiting for Rotiform Cast TMB's in 19 inch, 10J... Can't wait!
Thanks for looking.

Spent the afternoon today cleaning the rocco with a friends new dc5, nice and clean ready for the bank holiday weekend!
Front splitter is off whilst I refurb it. Front bumper is booked in for re spray and to be smoothed on the 6th June! Then hopefully the rotiforms will be released around the same date... Just playing the waiting game now!
Hope you like

Lowered the fronts all the way down today, looks better but I'd ideally want to go lower - the temptation to get air is back!!

A couple of small updates:
My freshly painted and smoothed front bumper should be ready this week! I got this shot the other day as I was passing my local VW garage, my current favourite pic of the rocco :
This also happened...

Thanks man! Ive been speaking to a local company who make custom springs to replace the springs on my coilovers and go a little lower. Depends on how my new wheels sit first though!
