Long time no see. I still have the Scirocco, though, after almost five years. I've been trying to find a successor for it, but nothing just quite does it, at least on my price range. So I guess a I'm still holding on this for a while, at least I just bought new summer tires for it and retrofitted OEM bluetooth unit. My Scirocco is also getting a new timing chain assembly next week (the joys of owning a combination of 1.4 TSI and DSG7
).

I retrofitted the bluetooth module yesterday. I got a complete OEM retrofit kit from Carsystems.pl, with the module, OEM mic and harness. Everything went smoothly and quickly, I even got my friend to do the requiered coding. But then today, I tried the bluetooth audio and encountered some strange behaviour. BT-Audio only works for 30 seconds or so. The head unit becomes completely silent after this and only "booting" the car seems to help. Or calling to someone. The small phone icon appears at the screen when this happens and changing the audio source helps nothing. I also have a mute icon on MFA. It seems the car thinks I'm having a phone call or something.
Anyone seen this before? Is it my head unit (RCD-510, 3C8 035 190), the bluetooth module (7P6 035 730 N) or my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.3)? Any ideas?
