Was told by the dealer last Thursday that my Car had gone from Stage 1 to 3 within the morning (Build Week of 39), he wasnt sure when it would ship, but says I should have the car by the middle of October, fingers crossed it is.

Hi guys,

I'll be new in the Roc family :), from Romania.
Does anyone know how the cars get to the continent? Cargo boats or trains or auto trains?

I have a confirmed build week of 39 (this one) and i was wondering how much time it takes for the car to get to Romania.

Thanks,
Mihai

That's what I was told when I was test driving, but by the time I had placed the order it had sprung right forward.

Well picked up the car on Thursday, had a bit of a nightmare with getting money from webuyanycar.com, but eventually paid the deposit and drove away in the car. I'm unbelievably happy with everything about the car. Fuel Consumption is perfect, I'm easily getting 40mpg around town which is perfect for me. The response from the Throttle pedal is amazing. All in all im really happy with the car. Easily the best car i've ever owned. It'll certainly be worth the wait for you guys still waiting.

Hi,

I have had a read through to get an idea of current times people are waiting to get their build weeks but it's not clear.....so if anyone can advise if this is usual I would be very grateful:

I am getting a company car through Arnold Clark (I was told they came in with the best quotation) and the full order was sent and accepted by then on 20th October 2011. A month on and they are saying they have sent the order to the factory but no build week. This communication is all through the lady who deals with me in the company car department at work to some other guy and then on to Arnold Clark.

I was just wondering if I should have had a build date by now or whether waiting this long is the norm?? I am getting frustrated by not being able to speak to the dealer directly and my current lease car runs out soon, so will be without a car :o(

Cheers,
L x
