I know mine shifted from week 22 to week 28

There will be a common link in an option from a suppliers. I notice Panos on both and it the past there have been supply & demand issues delaying build due to Pano Roofs. Or it may be the engine.

Week 26 is what the man said The guy did say that he had known dates to shift due to parts availability, but as its now been confirmed I should be ok.

Once the order has production confirmed, that means they have all the parts to build. They won't put the order to that status unless they can. On the home run now. Engine & gearbox are already built. They will start build sometime this week for Wk26.

I was just told today that my build week will be pushed until 29. This sucks!

I have been told the factory have confirmed the order and have given the build Wk 27 ,waiting patiently its my first brand new car and its a Scirocco !!!

Just spoke to the dealer today and he said the car had been shipped & arrived to the UK mainland, so a week today I can go and pick it up. Can't wait!

Finally got a build date of mid July ordered in April and just been sent £40 gift voucher for accessories for having to wait so long.

Ordered the car 2 weeks ago - just got the build date 18th July - which build week is that?

Wk29, completed the 1st day of the build week.

week 29 jono, that is likely to be the confirmed build week as we are week 26 now & sounds like they had a cancelled order or demo that they changed to your spec so very good news for you!

How do you find out all that stuff about where it is in factory and the boat its shipping on and other good things??

for where it is in the factory ask your dealer, but obviously only during your build week & it will go through quite quick so their system may not update quick enough, the other option during that time is to have your commission number (your order number with VW UK, you need to get this from your dealer) and ring VW customer services.
in terms of boat updates, thats RW1's area so when you know what build week it is the schedules will be added in the boat topic & mention what build weeks are likely on that boat & when it is due to dock in the UK (or Emden) then its up to your dealer to request it or push it from the port.

Still confimed wk 28 for me and £40 voucher arrived this morning

YES!!!! just got back to a phone message that our car has arrived at the dealers today and will be ready for collection next thursday . next stop delivery room.

I had a phone call yesterday to say the same , picking it up on Friday - its going to be a long week, can't wait
see you in the delivery room
