That rattle from the engine bay in the 1500 - 2000 rpm zone. Sounds like a Lada. A new one.
Rubbish headlights - why don't VW even put in projectors as the base unit?
Manual coming home lamp function.
No back seat vent units in the armrest.
That cup holder unit.
Side door bins far too small.
No pockets in the back of the seats.
Rubber pedals.
Paint quality.
No covers on sills.
No red line on the grill
No gas bonnet support
Drivers seat doesn't go low enough - same as Golf
Only minor things really. After coming from a loaded mk 5 GTI which was stolen, in some areas it seems very bargain basement in it's fit out - wait for the first 'special edition'! The paint on the german produced vehicles was in a different league. Much better to drive tho - just wish I'd got xenons again so I could see where I am going at night!
