I can't believe I saw "student" in this thread...I was a poor little student, bicycle was my primary mode of transport and that was 2 years ago!
Anyway, I'm a Software Analyst...someone had to break the run of exciting job titles.

Senior IT Consultant; ranges from working in-house, designing software for the Pensions industry and also, working externally, on client IT projects in both Banking & Insurance sectors. In other words, a case of "death by projects" or "analysis paralysis"

I am loving how some people feel the need to put their seniority in their title, and others job descriptions do the deed perfectly, ie, Pilot/Doctor.
I'm an analyst for a utility company.
