i would not recommend any form of tape, there is to much presser they will come away from the body. Get some good quality sealant, I used Tiger seal, bond it and let it set for 24 hours clamped/taped to the car. Then you should have no issues.
Are we talking about side pieces or thhe actual skirts?

Car looks awesome you have put a lot of work in to it ,but it looks worth it in the end as you say a nice set of 19in wheels will finish the car off
What wheels you thinking of ?

Nice, what colour is your car? The white one? How does it sound?

Yeh it's the white one
It's actually has a little bit more noise than standard I asked for it to be like that , the only way to get it louder is to leave all the silencers out and I didn't want that.
But it looks the dogs bollocks ,
Yours will sound awesome as a petrol doesn't have a dpf filter which restricts the sound on a tdi

I would glue them on with Tiger seal your wasting your time with tape I've fitted a few spoilers and original roc side skirts and the genuine ones need glued it even tells you in the instructions ,I once used tape on a mk6 golf fitting side skirts and they were hanging off a few days later.
Just glue them and they will never move

Yeah glue them on, I tried the tape and as les said 3 days later they were coming off by the doors and arches. After that I used tiger seal and they have been on for months now with no problems.

Okay so i will. :) And just for double checking.

-Apply glue to the part where tape was
-Then let it dry completely
-Put on the adapters on the bottom, or did you use these?

Thanks for your help and im pretty sure it's easy job, i just need to get doing it. Im only wondering should i use the adaptors or not (i tried to look underneath my car but didn't find out where to put them) and where the glue goes. Sorry for all the messages on your topic.

you need try them before putting glue on, fit the adaptors underneath once your happy there fitting ok.
you need 2 people for this job first apply a 6mm bead of tigerseal away from the edge as you don't want much to squash out and have a tub of wonderwipes or gorilla wipes to clean off any exess glue you need masking tape or gaffa tape to hold them on pulling it to the body work ,the last ones I put on with the my local body shop they used spare wheels with tyres which they push up against the skirts where they needed a bit more force to hold them in place then leave over night to set and they were perfect the next day
sorry forgot to say there is rubber grommets under the sills take the ones out that line up with the skirt fixings this is where your fixings go

the adapters are needed and are easy to fit, just pull out the 4 plastic cap things on your car, slot the adapters in and put the rectangle locking bit in the middle to lock it in. Likely the worst description ever but it is easy to do once you look
