Comparasion picture of my interior changes. Even though i think the hydro dipped carbon parts look ok, i bought a second set of interior trims and i'll paint them piano black. Simpler the better.

Looks great!
How do you find the feel of new steering wheel?
Is it smaller than the old one?

Re: Bagged Scirocco from Finland / / Rare Wheels
Headlights done. Just minor problem that the leds are flashing when i start the car. I'll try to fix that with some electric components but that will be later. Afterall it was dead easy to do these. I only had to add one repair wire, from bumper drl + signal to headlights port 10. I didnt want the other little light at headlights workin but it's just wire from 12 to 8. I have 2009 car so i didnt even need any coding. Im probably going to unplug the drl's from bumper so they will just work as blinkers for me.

Footwell lights DIY here..
Okay so i ordered this set: http://www.bold-sport.com/store/index.p ... uct_id=131" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The instructions on that site are:
Install Info for Front Footwell Light Housing
Golf VI, Jetta VI, scirocco, tiguan
Electrical System Controller (J519)
connect + B50, - Ground
Coding 09 > 07> 42bit add 1
Golf V, Jetta V, Passat/ Passat CC, R36
Electrical System Controller (J519)
connect + B7, - Ground
Coding 09 > 07> 2bit add 4
Even though there is a scirocco on the upper info, but i have the old type of BCM so i followed the lower instructions. I actually didn't know which one i had before trying to put the pin in right place.
The bcm is located below the steering wheel, you have to remove 3 torx screws and you can see the bcm, the working position is really awkward, i had my head on the floor and legs up to my seat.. But it's pretty clear where you have to put the wire, on the B connector and there is a number 7. First you have to unlock the connectors and it's done by pressing the red part on the (auf) arrow direction. Now you can take the connector off. Next there is a purple part on the connector you have to pull with screwdriver, just be careful that you dont take all the wires away by accident. The wire came with the right pin so just put it on the slot 7, lock the connector by pressing the purple part down, put it back in the bcm and lock the connectors.
I used clothtape? to wrap wires.. Same stuff what are used around oem wires.
Untitled by Jimi Jokela, on Flickr
There are already places for the lights, you just have to press the covers off. Then just simply put the units in place. I placed the wire behind and under the radio.. Just had to undo the two big interior pieces on the footwells. Just undo the one screw and pull it down. I found the oem ground point behind the hood opening lever. Do the vagcom coding: 09 > 07 coding> 2bit add 4. Then you can play with the dimming located on 09 > adaptation. I put 50% when the oem is 80% But i think im going to try more values and see what looks the best.
And since all off my interior lights are leds and i had leds for footwell lights already i put them on staight away.
If you have the new type of bcm the right pin is on the B connector and pin 50.
It's always dark in Finland at this time of a year so bad photo but you'll get the point.

Hi!!
First I have to say, I really like what you are doing. Keep up the great work!!
You have basically the exact same base as I do, a 2009 one and I have also retrofitted the R led daylights in the bumper.
Now I'd also like to add the facelift headlights, but I would also like to keep the lower led daylights in the bumper, too.
The problem is the blinker, do you think it's possible to modify the facelift headlights so that they have an integrated blinker just like the pre facelift xenon headlights? Imo both led daylights together are just pure awesomeness!

You should buy the bumper drl's with blinkers. Thats what i have. My pre-facelift bi xenons didn't have blinkers.

Hi mate, how did you code / wire the DRL to stay on with the headlights? I fitted an R bumper with genuine DRL and xenon lights, but when i turn on my headlights the DRL turn off

I remember doing some coding with vcds. Cant remember the exact thing i did but there are not that many drl settings so you can just try everything Maybe "scandinavian drl" or something.
