Looking good Tom. I still need to ring my insurer about a new screen. Somethings hit it near the bottom & cracked it about 2 inchs down & 5 across. All in the black bit at the bottom [THUMBS DOWN SIGN]

I don't even know when mine happened, you can see the point of impact but I don't often use the car which is annoying.
Even more annoying is I was having my wheels painted at work for £60 but with moving I can't do both. Meh [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Haha typical! One of those things that really bugs me though - I didn't want them to fill it so have just paid for a brand new screen:
Knowing my luck I'll get another chip in 2 weeks time hahaha.

Bit of a wait if your screen was illegal isn't it. I'm hoping admiral will let me use national windscreens then I can get them to do it while they fit our screens at work lol

Yeah! I'm not sure where you stand with that legally - seeing as it's the earliest date they could do and it's all booked in/I've paid now.
National windscreens did mine on my old car, really good and fitted it in no time. Shame aviva use autoglass who have a 2+ week waiting time !

NW have done all our screens at work for years. When we're busy they probably do 2 upwards everyday for us

How hard was the bumper to get off man? My parking sensors work intermittently at the moment and don't know whether its a lose connection on one of them so want to pull it off.

I'm going to answer this one. The standard bumber i very easy to take off. If you have replica R bumber it's harder, but OEM parts is easy.
Good step by step guide.

Was pretty easy to be honest mate! It was all self explanatory, I just followed the picture on this guide showing where the clips are:

Haha thanks dude! They're a bit bright aren't they
Today the roc broke down
went over a speed bump sideways (low lifestyle haha) and the car stalled. Turned it back on, stalled again. Tried again and it wouldn't even turn over...
Called the AA who came out within 15 mins! Gave it a look over, no EML, no fault codes, unable to diagnose - so it was towed to the local VW dealer where it'll be spending the next week or so
Currently suspect injectors, although could be anything to be honest! Will update here as and when I find out.
Sad times

No worries, the LED numberplate lights are from eBay - I think I pasted a link somewhere in my thread not long ago! As for the fog's - I haven't changed them at all, although there are plans in the pipeline
These arrived yesterday, I don't plan on fitting them until the front bumper is resprayed but some R style DRL's (i've been given so much abuse by my friends for buying these
)

Do those have indicators in the as well (i.e. a direct replacement for the standard indicator/DRL set) if so where did you get them, I'd be super interested in buying a set to tidy up the front!

As Would I if they weren't going to blow every 3 months haha. I've heard the aftermarket DRL's for the ROC can be a bit temperamental. Let us know how those ones work out though Tom.
Cheers for the info as well Tom, gonna look into these LED license plate lights as yours look top class.

Haha!
Dave - they do include the indicators yeah! They are a direct replacement for the standard set up with no wire cutting or 'bodge jobbing' needed. I bought them from an eBay seller based in China, they were just under £80 with £20 customs charges. Link here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/371060212564?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Stirocco - you're right. They're renowned for not lasting long at all although I've been advised of a simple solution! The reason they don't last long is due to the fact that there is a huge open hole at the rear, inviting condensation and other muck to gather inside the light cluster. I am going to reseal the whole under (plus the open hole) to make sure it is 100% air tight, which should hopefully resolve the issue
Update on the car breaking down last night...
...so VW called me today and they want £102 just to diagnose the issue before even starting to repair it. They said even if they identify an issue, the earliest it can be looked at is the 5th may.
To make matters even worse, they have no courtesy cars at all until after this date - so I'm doubley frustrated!
On top of that, this conflicts with my booking on 1st May to get the bumper sorted. So looks like that's going to have to be pushed back now too.
All in all, not a great day - let's see what issue(s) they find when they look at it!

Cheers for the info on the DRLs, I'll be looking at getting a set.
Shame about VW dragging their heels. Does it have to go to VW or could you find a decent VAG specialist in your area?
