Noooooooooooooo!

That is pretty annoying. Hopefully you can impress upon your dealer how disappointed you are and how you're looking forward to the free tank of fuel they'll be giving you to make up for the extra delay!

Hang in there!

PS: let me know when yours finally arrives - I want to know if yours has the "Mirror Down" option in the convenience menu (the topic of much discussion elsewhere in this forum). Mine doesn't. Be interesting to see as they must have been built in the same or adjacent build weeks.

My news have just got even better, not only do i not have a build date after ordering back in early august, i have been told that my order will not start to be built until January and expected delivery would be late march early April!!! on top of this i was told the price will go up in line with the recent price increase and VAT - i was previously assured it was price protected.

This is the first VW i have ever ordered and to be honest it is leaving a sour taste in my mouth, no matter the quality of the car the service sucks.

Could I recommed that you get your commission (com) number from your dealer & ring vw customer services, they might be able to give you some more information & explain why on earth this is happening.

I certainly believe your order should be price protected as it was ordered before 1st Sept.

That is completely unreasonable

My order went in (to company cars) September 23rd, they issued it with the lease company with delivery schedule of October 1st, meaning a.s.a.p !

I've been ringing the VW dealership who we deal with every week since and they've still not received anything through yet :(

So much for getting my Roc in February, it's looking more like April now :( :(

Just been told by my dealer that I have an unconfirmed build week of 47! Not bad considering I only ordered on 15th September :hyper: I won't be happy until it's confirmed though :(
I hope others who are also waiting get good news soon :)

yep, i think you are right. i have been in contact and leaving it with them a few days. if they cant do anything for me i will be cancelling - 8 months or so for a new car is crazy. i have been looking at second hand ones which is an option so all might not be lost - at least i wont have to wait

Count yourself very lucky indeed. I ordered mine on 30 June and have only just got a confirmed bw of 43. So, you've got yours a whole 2 months quicker that a lot of people on this borad.

I too will miss out on the model updates slated for bw45.. however I don't care anymore.. I just want the darn car.

Trix,

That's good news.

Any reason why its only taking a week from factory to dealer? Have they started flying them in........
