Morning all,
its been a while since I've updated this thing and I haven't made much progress on the car given I've recently moved house and purchased a £300 s**i box van.
The cars also back on its Winter wheels

Not sure if this still being updated, but are you by any chance selling your OEM TSI engine cover?

Small update.
When I can be bothered, I'll get it cleaned up and sort out some half decent photos.

It has been a while since I've updated this thread, but truth be told, not a great deal has changed since I got wind that the M2 was being released. Anyway, here's now the motor sits at present:

Love it. If you don't mind, I have a few questions, as you've done a few changes I'm planning myself.
1) how's the ride comfort on the KW DCC? I find the standard setup, unnecessarily harsh, even in comfort mode. I've been in cars which were "firmer" all in, but still less jarring and brutal over joints / potholes etc. Your ride height looks absolutely spot on (not lowered to chavvy levels, but keeping the wheels nicely in the arch) and I'd like to know if ride has come to a balance point or has been compromised somehow.
2) How is pedal feel on the big aston/TTRS calipers, did you find the rear end to be a concern with standard rear brake setup. I already find that the car is a little squirmy under braking hard on track, and back end seems to want to overtake slightly. Can be fun, but is sometimes just frustrating.
3) how's noise on the non res miltek? The other criticism of mine, is that in spite of covering vast ground, quickly, in stage 1 format. It doesn't really make any noise when giving it the beans. But I also use it as a commute and motorway car, so drone is a big no no!
Would very much appreciate the opinion of someone that's gone through this route.

1) The ride's perfectly acceptable for a daily and there's plenty of compliance in the dampers to deal with UK roads.
2) The pedal feel's fine once the pads are up to temp and yes, the rear's a little under braked hence the 335mm rear disk conversion - helped massively.
3) The Milltek sounded awesome at full chat, but to live with, pretty shit. BCS all the way and I'll probably end up having one on the M2 once it arrives.
The car's going back to standard this week, so if theres' anything you're interested in, give me a shout!

The bcs is a lot better then?
I'd love to make you lots of offers on most of it, especially brakes. But sadly budget doesn't allow at present

In my opinion yes, but I'm not a fan of constant drone and/or being sold a 'full stainless system' when it actual isn't... Mild steel flanges, bosses etc.

I never actually measured it, I just wound the coils in/out until it looked OK and gave me a sensible amount of ground clearance.

Hi dude,
First off lovely car, I see you are running a stage 2 dsg map from revo. I'm stage 2 revo atm and want to map the dsg next. Only thing holding me back is what it's like when just driving around in D. Iv heard it doesn't shift into 6 gear until 60mph.
What's your thoughts about the dsg map and is it fine to live with as a daily drive?
Thanks in advance

It's perfectly fine to daily and it'll happily sit in 6th at 35/40.

I think i read somewhere you changed your rear discs to a bigger size.
did you need to change the caliper aswell as it doesn't mention about caliper on the discs.
if it wasnt you apologies.
