The wheels look great and will look even better once you've had it lowered.
Yes I can't wait to lower it. Probably 2 weeks till all the VWR suspension arrives.

I got vw to swap the wheels over before I signed and collected it, so I actually didn't even wait 1 second before I started modding it.

Should have asked them to clip on the 4wd system while they were at it ;)

Yes if only lol.

I'm sticking some miles on it first because the 4wd will invalidate my warranty and I want to make sure there are no niggly little issues that I have to claim on. So far so good, not even a rattle.

Just got my car back from Regal Autosports and having had the following kit fitted:

VWR 2 way Track Sport coil-overs with adjustable drop links and adjustable top mounts
VWR Alloy Control Arms (wishbones)
VWR Anti lift kit
VWR Roll Centre Adjusting Ball joints (lower)
VWR Transmission Mount (Gearbox Side)
VWR Engine Mount (Engine Side)
VWR Sub-frame Mounts

I will be getting the photos from Regal after the weekend to show the before & after and all the parts used.

Having only driven the car 20 miles I need to spend more time before I can give a detailed run down. I am probably as low as my old car on H&R 35mm springs, possibly a bit lower but will be taking it lower once everything settles.
First impressions are it is now like driving a totally different car all together. The steering is super precise and I can feel how the car is reacting to the road surface, very much like the old school performance cars I have owned with manual gearboxes and rack steering. When you put your foot down or brake there is no longer the feeling of weight transferring from front to rear and it feels very solid. Cornering is absolutely transformed from a decent hot hatch level to what I can only describe as some of the bespoke cars I have had driving lessons in at various track days.
There is a downside to the improvement though and that comes in the form of additional noise and vibration through the chassis. being a hard ride (even with coilovers on medium) does not bother me at all, as this is expected at this level. The extra noise/vibration will be one of those things I will either get used to or will hate. I would like to have tried halfway from standard to full on with the mounts but was advised by everyone that if you don't do all 3 at the same time it just cause the standard ones to wear out quicker.

Let's see what a couple of hundred more miles brings and some adjustment. Over all though I am pleased with the set up and have no doubt it is way more capable all round, including getting the power down. :D

Great to see that the result is what you wanted to be :)
I would be interested to see the before/after measurements of caster and camber.
And of course, some pics with the rocco :)

Cheers

Now you just need to modify a gas damper for the hood ;)

Great set up, little tip with the engine mounts with a dsg car is to use neutral when stationary a bit as it reduces the noise and slight vibration in the cabin

They not tempted you into the new 360 6 pots, Scott mentioned you when i was sorting my set with them and i can vouch they are spot on and looking forward to using in anger in a couple of weeks

Looking good stu! Can't believe they still don't put in proper strutts...

Have you made up your mind on BCS? PeterG has just had a brilliant custom exhaust made at EMP and is probably the best sounding R i've heard
