Hi Rako

I ordered on March 21st, they gave me a delivery date of 20th July but maybe that will come forward a bit if the build week has ?

I just hope the build week doesn't get brought forward again
I really do prefer the new steering wheel, not bothered much about the clocks, I almost prefer the old ones

I read on another thread (about "more delays") that the factory was stopping production for 4 weeks in the first half of this year, maybe they are restarting week 22 which is why so many people get this as a build week ?

Does anyone have a build week 18, 19, 20 or 21 ?

I was told by my dealer 2 weeks ago that I had a build week of 19 for mine. Personally I'm not bothered about the changes, I just want my car!

Mine is build week 19. Despite offering to pay the difference, I couldn't convince the dealer to let me swap for the 170-TDi :grumpy:

Now. Due to the lead time on new cars, all orders placed from now on will be for 2010 spec models.

Help ¡¡¡

I have a doubt very important. I read a user forum that has said that the new steering wheel, the new FIS and the new table are placed orders to cars in the month of May.

This is true? My car is called in April but is manufactured in week 23.

Absolutely true, it was late in the day. But if you don't ask..... and here was me thinking they wanted to make money by selling more expensive cars

Your car will be the 2010 model if you could choose the 19's as an optional extra

Bear in mind this applies to UK only. All across the EU 19'' were available before.
I'd rather say if you are able to spec 19'' together with ACC then you will be ordering new model for sure
Anyway, imo all orders placed more or less mid March onwards will be the 2010

2010 model will be available to order from early June. The same time that us in the UK can order the 19's and when the 170PS diesel available to order.

I would be very surprised if any orders made before these are available will be the 2010 model

VW have updated the price list on the UK website and the 19" alloys and 170 diesel are listed now. http://cdn.volkswagen.co.uk/assets/comm ... celist.pdf

There still seems lots of confusion about when the first 2010 My cars will arrive in the UK.

If the 2010 My is available to order from 01/05/09 given current build times are quoted at 16-18 weeks for a new order i reckon we wont see 10My Rocs in the UK until the end of August / Start Sep for 59 plates?

Or do we reckon people will get them sooner than this?

Has anyone had it confirmed that they are getting a 10My car any time soon?
08/11 - 12/13 2.0 TSI R DSG, Black / Black Vienna
01/09 - 08/11 2.0 TSI GT DSG, Black / Truffle Vienna

Black is the new Black....
