I have watched the BBC highlights now, indeed what a fantastic race. It was a shame I knew the result while watching. I noticed again how quickly the Mercedes pulled away after the safety car restart, I think after 3 laps they were something like 7 seconds clear of Perez!
I think the Red Bull still looks an efficient car and would still expect them to do well at tight twisty circuits where all out engine power is not so much an issue. You can see the body language now in Vettel which is almost a bit resigned, I think he knows a 5th consecutive title is unlikely this year. Still this is good for the sport, it was getting very monotonous seeing Vettel winning race after race in the latter part of last year.
Williams have been a bit of a relevation, but still have not had the luck on their side to haul really big points in.
As for Maldonado - what an idiot, he has been involved in far too many incidents, surely he could have avoided Guiterrez?
