I'm away saving my pennies for the next rounds of upgrades to make the Rocco complete, since last post Iv had the addition to the 19inch rotiform black alloys.

To the addition to that Iv updated my clutch to an organic sasch clutch for the additional power I'm moving to.
Iv also ordered a Loba HPFP allowing me to go stage 2+, Iv not stopped there scorpion decat pipe and wavetrec differential to allow me to use my extra horses on the road/track.
Cosmetically I was looking for a cup spoiler for some time I found a genuine VW cup spoiler for £270 un painted it was something I had to have.

I will update with pictures and dyno results from 321bhp I'm guessing 335 what's your thoughts guys?

did you ever start with stage one on the oem clutch?

just wondering how that holds up, I'm thinking about a conservative superchips stage one in a year or so when I am used to the Rs stock power

I ran oem clutch stage 2 for around a year covering 22k due to moving to Germany, upgraded to move upto 2+ for peace of mind!
All clutches are different a friend was running stage 1 and got slip straight away..

Just been on a trip back to the UK to visit JKM down in Portsmouth for my stage 2+ tune with all the trimmings. I went for Loba HPFP, Forge quick shifter, changed from Scorpion high flow sports cat to Scorpion decat to release that extra potential and finally the best bit Wavetec LSD.
Just attached a few pictures of the old and new its pretty impressive you dont every get to see whats going on inside the transmission.

All I can say is what a transformation this thing makes it stick to the road like glue almost defies physics. I have been fortunate enough to get some dry road and been able to put her into corners where usually id feel the car under steer the lsd pulls me in tight towards the corner makes you want to accelerate more!
I am really looking forward to some track time with the guys from JKM and MSSkits next year it will be very interesting to see if the scirocco will beat Williams TT R-S around the track.

I'm still yet to put the roc on the dyno but later this month when changing discs and pads i'l see how shes performing any guesses?

Dude, did you upgrade your cooling system i.e. bigger intercooler, etc ?

Also, is HPFP necessary for Stage 2+?

I needed to go for a Audi RS3 LPFP because my OEM dropped at higher rpms.
I think Scirocco R until 2012 has the same LPFP as MK6, which is not enough if you are going higher then stage 2+.

Here's the dyno print outs from the stage 2+ tune HPFP, decat, software and new discs and pads all around what a Christmas!

345.2hp 350+ Ft Lb can really get it down with the LSD and summer tyres roll on summer time again!

Here is a pic of the new discs sitting on the standard rims with the winter tyres.

So Decat HPFP and software has produced an extra 24hp and 40+Ft Lb. I seriously doubt any more mods will get done to the Roc now, anything more I believe would be dangerous on stock internals some big money involved not that it hasn't already lol

Widely tested that the stock internals can handle way more. The R engine has the stronger rods and low comp pistons which are on several conversions with 500+ hp. As previously mentioned Statller staff have one just over 500hp and another at 590hp with not a single issue. Regal say they only recommend going to uprated rods on conversions over 450hp and that is just a precaution and not due to experience of component failure.

do you track day your scirocco? How does it hold up against other performance cars?

I'm thinking of twintake and stage 1 only for fast road use. How is the sound of the twintake?

It's a nice Instagram effect, yes I do track the car does well with the lsd its bought all the mods together nicely!
I was actually thinking of chaining to an open cone so could potentially sell you mine if you like? It sounds great a little bit like darth vader with the addition of a blow off valve you get some quality noises.
