This is absolutely nuts! I dont even know what to say... after 2 years as well since the initial post!! I hope you've installed CCTV etc in your house, even though that might not get them identified. What's being done by the authorities?! The problem with this rubbish is that you end up footing the bill through raised insurance premiums
- hope all is well. I hope the scumbags get what's coming to them

Hi Cj,
I live in the north west of Coventry and it's normally pretty quiet but apparently neighbours have had things stolen recently so they are just doing the rounds. I wouldn't worry about but just enjoy the car.
Dimexi - 6 got caught this time and the oldest were 17! The house is completely flood lit and my neighbours are coppers.

South West Coventry here, and the same sort of situation with house burglaries. We had a spate of these about 10 years ago and then they returned last year, armed with crowbars. Several houses with plastic doors in neighbouring roads got turned over. They tried it with my wooden door as I lay asleep in bed but gave up, kindly leaving me with chisel marks down one side of the door. The gang then moved on in the direction of Solihull.
As it happens, I followed a deep black R into the Shell garage on Holborn Lane today. Asked if he was on the forum, but wasn't. Has had the car from new for 2 years and is now focussed on the new Golf R for more power

Hi guys
I picked mine up from Milton Keynes today with the amazing ride back to coventry! I must say the car is insane! It's a million times better than I imagined!
I will admit I am a little u easy with having it on the drive in case of burglaries, or leaving it over the road for damage! I'm considering a tracker or something similar but I'm not sure if I'm being overkill!
So you guys are saying they didn't necessarily target the car, it was more the house with the bonus of getting the car?
I just want to be able to have something I've worked hard for without having to battle against the low lives who make a living off everybody else...
For now though il enjoy my R!
Thanks

Absoloutely crazy to have it done 3 times! Some of these crooks have been caught so i guess you've got to look at it in a postive way, one less crook on the street.
