12mm, elz, same as the eibachs. others go slightly wider on the front, 15mm works well too. happy with the 12s, though, not sure i could handle any more mud being slung up the side as it's my daily driver. glad you enjoyed the thread! [emoji106]

bit of a service yesterday; cambelt, water pump, new brake fluid, m.o.t, wheel alignment. not really sure what these figures mean so if anyone can shed some light i'd be grateful, was told they can't do the camber on the front due to the vwr springs. feels nice and tight on the road, though it did before:

...and two days later my a/c starts hissing and rattling so it's back to vw, who fitted a new one under warranty. bargain. wouldn't have been covered by a stone hitting it, was lucky it had cracked instead. pretty sure it should be black though.

and while i'm at getting him over his 4 year service hump why not an exhaust fix too? pretty sure it had a new backbox before i got it. the pipe was cut and joined with a sleeve which had rusted through.
so off to emp who sorted it in an hour:
obligatory ramp shot:
may have lost a muffler in the process. totally blaming james for that. and maz a little bit too.

yeh, phil's guilty for telling me it was a good idea, trust him too much that's my problem. and al, too, he's always annoyingly full of good advice. in fact everyone but me. (does sound wicked tho.)

not much going on recently - had to top up the coolant after the 4 year service - got through about a litre of the stuff; emptied the reservoir twice. was beginning to think i had a leak. settled down after a few hundred miles and is still on max so all good. vw said to keep an eye on it, lucky i did.
