Patted it on the bonnet and sighed when I walked past it and saw it had a flat rear tyre. Aircon currently broken as well.

I drove my Roc Today whilst the farmers were out cutting the hedges guess what, I had a blow out..... Tyre completly wrecked....... Good job its on a full lease as I couldnt afford the £200 for a new pirelli anyway mobile kwik fit are coming to the rescue tomoro. For Info - Took only 7 - 8 Mins to change the blown one to the space saver, perhap I shouls approach Maclaren and see if they have any pitstop jobs going.......LOL.... Happy Driving folks.

Did a bit of shameless picture whoring then took the front wheels off trying to find the source of some mysterious rubbing. Turns out I need bigger spacers, or narrower tyres, or both!

This car is a money pit!

Fitted a new differential pressure sensor as the it appeared to have failed - giving "implausible signal" error and emissions warning light on dash. Common part to fail across all brands in the group apparently.

My Rocco is off for it's 30 000 kms service next week. Just the actual service to be done. However I have also asked for the waste gate rattle cure(as per this forum) to be attended to and for the front/rear tyres to be rotated. As I will be away for most of next week, the dealers are arranging to collect and deliver the car after said service. So today I spent some time removing all the bits and bobs that collect over time such as CD's, mapbook, overcoats, umbrellas and so on. I also reflected upon the fact that this is the most cost efficient car(both in terms of purchase price and daily running costs), that I have owned and yet it is the only one to make it to the 30 000 Service with no problems. Manufacturers of much larger German saloons and sports cars ( to not put too fine a point on it),most of which I have owned at some stage, should take a leaf out of VW's book.

My Rocco went in for repairs today - Engine Management light coming on and off, theyve had to order a new cat (Catalitic convertor ) for my Dog today. Mr Mennis The Scricco Greyhound 2 lt 210 GT.

Cant wait to get it back tomoro as no bill to pay as still under warrenty thank heavens.....I just hope this time they havnt been taking it out to much as last service i'd seemed to have lost 1/4 of a tank of petrol..... Have kept a record of the mileage this time.....

Happy Driving folks and last but not least keep flashing at each bro & sis Scrioccos,......
