I went to the dealers today to drop off my private registration number details so it's on the car for when i pick it up in a couple of weeks

Gave mine the once over with a clay bar, despite being only 7 months old I was stunned by how much grunge came off!

Today I only have 2 months before she is going back to the lease company! I don't know whether to get another one or try something else. I am sad at seeing her go

Had a good run along the M40 , feeling a little sad that in a few weeks time this my 1st scirocco will be part ex for the new rline 170.. Still love driving my car even after 3 years ... But I'm sure the new one will be just as much fun if not better

Changed the rear top strut mounts!

Not today technically, but took the front and rear VW badges off and painted them in matt black:-

Drove for 9 hours on the motorway to blackburn and back at 69mph to save on fuel then belted it and overtook a load of cars on a A road for the last 30 minutes of the journey as I felt I'd 'earned it'! ;-)
...then wiped a million dead bugs off the paintwork I'd spent hours on the day before!

Fitted my iPhone extension cable today, only use 1m length because 2m length will not work Doh !!
My fone is now in its Brodit holder whilst plugged into media in result.
This was on fleabay.
Ordered rear parking sensors today, mate is gonna fit em on Saturday for me.

Changed the wiper blades for Bosch Aerotwins, smashed the hell out of my high level brake light (flooded with water) and replaced it, nails!!!
Oh and finally got my boot lid bumpstops replaced under warranty, no more squeaking and rattling
