Is it just me or is the front end drop similar on these 2 cars, which is strange since Victor has the VWR springs and Dolly the H&R springs...Would be interesting to see what the actual measurements would be between these 2 cars since everyone seems to think the H&R springs lowers by about 10mm more than the VWRs...

Are they the same sized wheels though, my eyes tell me the blue ones are slightly smaller?

same size wheels, and the rising blue is lower by about 5mm i think. dolly definitely sits lower. vwrs feel firmer at high speeds though; think h&rs are a bit more bouncy!

Yeah stock wheels on the R is 19" so they should both be the same. Might just be that the tyre sizes are different, even so would still like to know how close the drop of these cars will be in relation to each other. Believe it or not but looked all over the web and no-one has really measured the actual height with these springs on, everyone just seems to quote the manufacturers specs.

you sure 19s are standard on the r? think they're still an option. and h&rs do differ by a few mm; seen some that def sit lower than others. will take a closeup pic of both when i get them together next time and will measure more accurately. i'm a skinny arse which doesn't help push the car down [emoji23]

Sorry guys, I'm from South Africa and here the R comes stock with 19", assumed it was the same in the UK. Looking at the pics though I would say that these 2 both have 19s on.

You tried the black hole and dodo hard wax yet easyrider? If so do you have any tips i.e. do you use it the same as tripple and just rub on then polish off after so long?

my H&Rs were also worn in (second hand) so don't know whether that makes any difference with Dolly looking lower... also, I'm sure there's a pic of them nose to nose somewhere, isn't there easyrider??

ok, so as promised, here's the comparison between vwr and h&r lowering springs. best spot we could find, it was getting dark. h&rs are 10 mm lower at the back we reckon and about 5mm lower at the front.

cars here are:
victor, black on vwrs
mazzie_baby's rising blue, dolly on h&rs
and james' rising blue maggie with the savannah wheels. (* drool *)
