I am going to try to get along to a weekend meet or two this year but work hours & location have now got in the way of attending any regular monthly meets, it was perfect for me when it was at Bird in the Hand or The Angel.

The last big weekend meet was very good. Locations aren't to bad for me because I live just off the Norwich ring road.

Just got back from a local VW meet. It was a charity rolling road and there was a good turnout. I had to leave early but got my car on the rollers to see what the stage 1 ran.
This is the result.
The BHP was good at 269bhp but I wasn't that happy with the torque figures 280 lb-ft. From what Revo where say I should be getting around 310 lb-ft. I spoke to guy who mapped my car, which was where the event was, and he said it was down to the fuel I was running, which was 95, had it of been 98 it would have been over 300.
Is 280lb-ft normal for a Revo stage 1 on 95.
That being said there was a guy running a mk6 gti with a AWE k04 and he had run 370bhp and 380 lb-ft on Regals roller and only ran 350bhp and 320 lb-ft today. So maybe the rollers were a bit out.

I've not been on for a while but the Scirocco GT will be going on Friday to make way for my new car a Scirocco R. I was thinking of moving away from VW completely and getting a Focus RS but the interior quality is not good.
Here are some recent pics of my GT after a good clean.
Pics of the R will follow.

Just had a look at this thread and seen I have never put pics of the new car up.
The car had the standard 18" alloys on it which I don't really like so I asked them to swap the alloys for my 19" Lugano's.
This is the car when I first got it.
First thing to do was swap over my rear 8mm spacers and add some H&R lowering springs
Before
After
Last week I bought a Whiteline Anti Lift Kit from mkviken on here and that will be going on the car next week.
When that is on I will then move on to changing the exhaust.

I finally got the WALK on the car and love how it makes the car feel. Turn in now is really sharp, a lot of the understeer has now gone and the steering has a really nice weighty feel in sport mode. Anyone thinking about buying this should 100% do it, great upgrade.

The intake went on last night. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Some of the clips are almost impossible to get to but we got there in the end.
Anyone thinking getting this kit its very well made and when driving normal speeds around town you can't really hear it. However when you put your foot down it is loud!
I will try and get some in car videos at some point.

I have seen people use TTS engine covers so I might look into getting one.
