Afternoon all,

It's been a while since I've updated this thread with the progress/modifications made on the car. Anyway here are a couple of photos of how the motor was sitting a couple of weeks ago (bar the interior), granted they were taken last year:

I’ll get a few more photos once I’ve cleaned it.

Right,

I've finally got round to cleaning it (shamelessly after nearly two months) and here are a few more photos:

I've finally decided on a colour for the wheels and hopefully they'll come out looking like this:

That's all for now folks.

Hi snapey

Did you go straight to coilivers or did you lower on springs first. I have a set ready to fit but worried bout bumps and humps as MetalJay had a piece of his bumper smashed out due to lowering it.

Any advice mate

Thanks
Rav

Straight to coilovers.

To be honest, I purposely had the front dropped very little and the back pulled down much more to help with the angle of attack. I thought I'd struggle with the front, but so far I've been alright. If I do struggle, I'll just wind the coils out a thread or two.

Just take your time and if you think your going to struggle, just turn into the transition.

I know no one will ever see it but it certainly sorts out the engine bay. Excuse the shocking iPhone photo.
I need your help .. i have a black coolant cap (3C0121321) but I can't find anywhere a black screen wash cap. Could you please send me that part´s number, which is hidden under the cap? I would be most grateful.

Well, the wheels have been refinished in gloss gunmetal with black wheel bolts:

Unfortunately my phone doesn't really do them any justice.

Its been a while since I last updated this thread and since then, the cars undergone quite a transformation. Here's a summary of how the car currently sits:

I'll no doubt get a few decent photos over the next couple of weeks.

Hey buddy,

Just ordered my Loba HPFP going up to stage 2+ accompanying with a wavetec diff to get my horses down!
Did you find much difference between 2 & 2+ and does the Loba pump have the same ticking noise of the OEM?

Many thanks Max

Snapey your car is ace. Not a fan of the audi engine cover though
